Supervisor profile #
Supervisors with senior and authoritative knowledge are involved in the validation of questions and answers through the Supervisor knowledge profile. They issue verdicts in various situations:
- When users who answered a question cannot determine the best answer.
- When the author of the question delegates the task of validating the received answer due to inability or lack of capability.
- When the network fails to find an answer after several attempts.
- When a user proactively suggests a better answer to a previously answered question.
Managing your verdicts #
You manage your verdicts from the My verdicts menu on the main portal page:
Stage | Description |
---|---|
Drafts | Gives a list of verdicts that you are working on. |
Submitted | Verdicts that you have submitted. Submitted verdicts cannot be changed anymore. |
Archived | Verdicts that been finished processing appear here. |
Choosing your verdict #
As a Supervisor, your validation of the answer to a question is extremely important. Once you accept the task of issuing a verdict, you will have multiple follow-up actions to choose from:
Action | Description |
---|---|
Accept answer | If you are satisfied and have confirmed that the response you received accurately answers the question and provides a solution to the problem, select this option. After submission, the answering process will be completed and the item will be published to the channel's feed. |
Choose an answer | If you believe that another answer received during the process is a better solution to the question and have already confirmed its validity, select this option. Once submitted, the answering process will be completed and the item will be published to the channel's feed. |
Answer self | If you believe that the provided answer or none of the options is satisfactory and you have a superior answer to share, please enter it here as your own response to the question. Once submitted, the answering process will be completed, and the item will be published to the channel's feed. |
Dismiss question | Select this option to disregard the question. By doing so, the corresponding answers will also be dismissed and the answering process will be terminated. However, both the disregarded question and the associated answers will still be accessible through the feed. |
Delegate to another Supervisor | Select this option to pass the verdict request to a different Supervisor. |
Please ensure that you pay extra attention to your mandatory feedback as it represents your decision and serves as a learning tool for users.
